My name's Kel, I'm a Christian, a Junior at University, and I'm from Texas.
This is just a personal blog, posting what I feel like and re-blogging what I like. I'm a fan of Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Sherlock, The Lord of the Rings, Narnia, Fullmetal Alchemist, Assassin's Creed, The Elder Scrolls, Top Gear, philosophy, British culture, and good literature.
For everyone who wants the 2012 Olympics in London to ask David Tennant to carry the torch - I think we’ve got it wrong.
If we REALLY want to preserve the space-time continuum in this, then they can’t ASK David to do it, or announce that he will - They’ll need to get someone else. But then something will happen, the the Doctor will run in and light the torch anyway!
So don’t get sad if they never ask David to light it - they never asked the Doctor to do it either. Needless to say, all we have to do now is wait and watch in anticipation.
I wonder what David thinks of all of this…
ALSO: Why in the WORLD are you all freaking out over Beckham? So what if he’s the first one in Britain - that doesn’t mean he’s set to light the thing! in fact, it probably means he’s not - they’ve got 8,000 people set up to run the thing, ok?
I keep catching myself saying “weeeelll…” a lot. I said it often before, but now it’s just gotten out of hand. I even use the same inflection as The Doctor. It’s like when you hang out with someone every day and you start to pick up on their tone or a gesture they do often. Ah!
This is so true! I was trying to tell my mom what time something was earlier and I said “Tomorrow night, weelll tomorrow evening, weeeelll tomorrow afternoon.” and I didn’t even mean to! lol, love it!
